Pinch running - Franchise

Is anyone else having problems putting a pinch runner in a game in MLB 19 (Carryover Franchise)? I try, and click "OK" when it asks if I really want to punch run, but the pinch runner never enters the game.

Yes I've had this happen at times. Not sure what the issue is that is causing it.

Are you doing it from the suggestions interface (the in-game part where they recommend you use a pinch runner) instead of the pause menu? If so, decline the suggestion and then do it yourself from the pause menu. The pinch runner suggestion function has been buggy since they put it in.

It happens using the pause menu as well.

The only way I could figure out around it was to do a save and exit and open it up again. Seemed to work after that.

Really? Sounds like a new, fun bug this year, then.

I don't pinch run too often so I haven't seen it happen.

It doesn't happen all the time, in fact, my experience has been that its extremely rare, but it does happen.

I play as the Nats with the FM19 version that came out after they signed Parra, so unless there's been an injury that makes me call up Michael A. Taylor I have basically no speed on my bench. So I guess the Nats' slowness works in my favour in terms of avoiding this bug.
