Should The Show improve definitely but I wouldn't hold EA up as the standard bearer based off only 1 or 2 years of an actual good NHL franchise mode.
It's been good for quite a few years. I think the last one I played was 16. Their progression/regression system should be copied by all games.

I think the point is less about EA and more about their NHL series actually paying attention to franchise. No-one is defending EA, and like I said before, the gameplay pales in comparison to the show.

Think the last NHL i played was 15 which wasn't very good.

Anyway glad some sports game has a team of people that actively improve it's franchise mode. Maybe we can hire them to teach other development teams how to listen to the people who play the games.

If only man, if only.

Also should mention the AHL and CHL licensing that EA's NHL has. SDS licensed farm systems has got to be on the top of someone's wishlist.

Do baseball players even have a union outside of MLB? Oof, maybe we should forget about it, sounds like a legal nightmare.

Minor league baseball players do not have a union

Even if they did, they'd still be adding all rookies with ZERO options
