To me, the most underrated aspect of Diamond Dynasty is that you can use a 100% sim approach when you play games. I've played every game with no visual aids and on ratings-based, auto-fielding, directional hitting and classic pitching. It's fantastic because you can really see the greatness of the more historic players stand out. I've played a ton of DD offline mainly due to the fact that it does this one thing (and I've still put 100s of hours into franchise mode).

MUT (and I believe HUT) STILL force you away from the most-challenging mode (sim) for the majority of the offline content (forcing the user to play the easier arcade or competitive modes). While the other games (FIFA and NBA2k) don't feature sim/arcade/comp modes, they are arcade-based games by default.

I really hate the way games these days have migrated to getting the most coin from the consumer with these Loot Box/RNG type of things.

Would very much agree with this. I love MUT too, but DD is just so much better to me and I enjoy the multiplayer so much more than MUT.
