Pretty much what I expected, just moving the DD team editor over to franchise and pretending that's relocation. The absolute bare minimum. Very underwhelming.

On a side note, whoever came up with the terrible puppet idea needs firing (preferably into the sun)

I figured exactly what it would be. A token to try and appease the franchise crowd since nothing has been touched.

Hopefully stream will address franchise logic changes.

I'm fine with it as it's the first year with it. If we don't get much change next year when new consoles are out then I'd be underwhelmed

Well at least you can select which stadium will be your home stadium. As to what those options will be....who knows?

Hopefully we get at least a few major league sized generic stadiums.

The key here is in the “pick a stadium” dialog box.

Hope they added a few generic major league stadiums.

Edit: just saw Josh posted pretty same thing at same time :-)

So I’ll add this. How many slots we’ll have free to replace an existing team ? If it’s just one away and one home slot then it will be very disappointing .

This article Ramone mentions new stadiums but the wording either means they want to add more or they have for this versions.

That doesn't always mean a graphical bump, Russell says. "We've reached visual maturity on PlayStation 4. It looks as good as we want it to look, so we've shifted our attention to other things. We've got brand new stadiums to put in the game, and they look gorgeous; we have brand new equipment to put in the game, things of that nature."

Not to be super negative, but this really is something they could have implemented awhile ago. Throw the DD customizer into the franchise.

I figured it would not be in-depth, and while I was not expecting a create-a-stadium or a true expansion, I was hoping for more. I likely won't touch this until those things are added.

2k did it all in one. Madden did it all in one (even though its not great many were hoping for something similar).

Oh well, some people will enjoy it even though it is very bare-bones. I fear this is the only franchise info we get as it is combined with the RTTS stream. Ill take the full minors as well.

It is just unfortunate that the actual structure, meat & bones of franchise seems like it will be untouched.

Expected disappointment, received disappointment. And people think things will change when the game is in PS5 and more consoles. It won’t..

I was hoping for more, like ability to import logos via USB that we find online, say the Expos logo or other old teams logos, but this is exactly what I expected bare minimum DD editor...

Lol, a huge thanks to all of those who have been asking for this so that we finally have it halfassed into the franchise mode instead of actual improvements that help me to replicate real life baseball. Improvements that are sorely needed just to keep up with real life happenings and rules, let alone other sports game’s franchise modes.
