This is fantastic news. I do just have one SMALL concern:

Now that minor league rosters are "official"...we've probably lost all ability to customize them. They'll become locked like the MLB players in terms of height, weight, hair, facial hair, etc...

What if not all the minor league guys have audio and we can't edit that? You might have to play a full season with your top young player being called "number 47".

Small issue, but I know it's going to cause issues for some people if all that information isn't 100% correct.

Dope! This will add a lot for me personally. Back when we had NCAA Football I honestly learned more about the other players and teams from the game than I did following in real life. Thanks and congrats Ridin and the others who helped make this happen.

So, when they do updates, will they be updating both MLB and MiLB? That will be a lot of transactions to keep up with.


Don't get me wrong, super pumped to have guys like Cristian Pache, Drew Waters and Ian Anderson out of the gate. Just curious about the logistics ...

Tebow's face was pretty good, but I'd say it's a mix of scans and CAPS. No way they were able to scan all minor league guys.

I would imagine any player who was in big league spring training last year should have a scan if they did it.

I don't think they'll be locked. I'm 90% sure what we're getting is what we've always gotten with Ridin in terms of his rosters: Fully editable CAPs. They just come shipped with the game this year.

In MLB 18, there were major leagues who were "in the game" with service time, but still have completely editable (Reds relievers Amir Garrett is one example).

How young will we be able to go? Usually it is 18, but there are several minor league prospects that are 17 or even 16.
