I made it through the entire game last night at midnight and it appeared to be approximately 75% finished installing when I had to go to bed. I struck out 19 through 8 with Strasburg, but couldn't get any more K's with him in the 9th.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

I played the stupid game with HOU and WSH while the game was installing. Once I was able to do so, I fast-forwarded through the end. Got to the final screen and it was kinda frozen. I then closed the game and reloaded, and then it was fine. I've never had this issue before, but nothing problematic happened.

It froze on me and wouldn't let me make subs/bullpen changes. I put the disc back in and to my surprise it was 95 percent finished then the game finally installed.

this is my first time playing The Show. I downloaded the game from the PS Store and that took about 4 hours. Now it has me playing a WS game and there is a green installation meter under the scoreboard.

Why does it install twice??
2 things:
1) It's not really just installing, it's downloading the rest of the game. The entire game is 68 GB (but I think it's compressed slightly during the download).
2) The game downloads in two sections. That first part allows you to play what you're playing now. The second part is the entire rest of the game, and you won't be able to access other parts of the game until that download completes.
If you want to see the progress of the full download, go to the PS4 home screen, press D-pad up, and go to notifications. You should see a progress bar for Show 20 and if you press X on that you'll be able to see that two-sectioned download, how much is complete and how much is left.
My advice: If you want to play the game while it's downloading to get a feel for it, go ahead, but the download will move much faster if you leave your PS4 idle (that is, closing the Show and having no other games running). It can also download in Rest mode if you have the settings configured to allow that.
