Franchise Relocation Question

I will be doing a Royals Franchise, who I'm not planning to relocate. But how would I be able to relocate a team like the Rays etc. a couple years down the road if I wanted to?

Would I have to do 30-team control and then switch over to them when I was ready to move them?

I like to keep things realistic so wasn't looking to start the franchise by moving a team, I want to wait a few years into it.

You can only relocate franchises that you have control of. You would have to have control over the Rays in order to relocate them.

You can, you just have to substitute teams before you start the franchise.

In the menu when picking teams hit R1 on tampa, you cant later down the road though

You can't and i thought this was a HUGE fail... they got lazy with this part. They should've added a whole new section to the team sections that dealt with team uniforms, logo etc. AFTER you pick your team stuff for the first thing that's what your set with.

Can you substitute teams outside of franchise mode? Like custom rosters with custom uniforms?

You can only use relocated teams in franchise mode.

What does hitting R1 do? What do you mean by substitute?

You hit R1 to substitute a new team for that MLB team when you're on the franchise team select menu.
