Give it a try and see how you like. In real life, there’s a lot of 10 days injuries and not too many players play 162 games in a season.

And you know, it’s a game and you can always undo it. If you find it unfair to loose a key player for 6 months , you can always Un-injure him or reduce it to something like a few weeks only.

I suggest to create a test franchise file where all teams are CPU. Then sim it for a month at a time and check around the league to see what happens. You’ll see a few long term but a lot of short terms as well.

yes, but you might have to change the injury type to something less severe if the original injury's quickest time back is still too long for you

turn injuries from auto to manual, reduce or remove injury completely, then turn injuries back to auto from manual

What level are yours set to?

I have mine set at 8 for both played and simmed.

I set up manual injuries the best I could to mimmick real life, but there aren't any options between 70-180 days I think it is. That needs to change in the future.

easy enough work around: when a 70 day injury is over give them another 70 day injury
