well the fielding issue is STILL in the game. literally just happened to me, ran to the spot and the player just let the ball hit him in the chest.

I will give it another go after turning fielding to auto last night after the umpteenth whiff by a fielder. Not sure why simply getting to the spot isnt enough like, well, every other baseball game to exist.

well the fielding issue is STILL in the game. literally just happened to me, ran to the spot and the player just let the ball hit him in the chest.*

Yep, happened to me twice in one game after the patch.
- A hard drive into left, Tommy Pham got to the catch indicator just a split second before the ball, but he just let it go right past his head and didn't even stick his glove up.
-And the second time was a blooper into right center, Brian Dozier went out for it and got to the spot, but he didn't turn around or even put a glove up to try and back hand it, he let it hit him in the back and didn't even attempt to catch the ball.

I rage quit and haven't played The Show again today so far.

I know it's not the first thing you'd think of when you're pissed in the moment, but try to save videos of these.

One, if you post here we can look at them as a community and discuss if anything might be user error, a bug, or poor game design, etc. More eyes on finding any common links between people having fielding issues can't hurt.

Two, videos are obviously helpful to send in with bug reports so that's a benefit right there.

Any under the hood changes? Hitting and pitch speeds still the same? Because I liked where they were at and not going to download if there is any changes to that
