It happened to me as well. I had a hard time trying to focus on the ball as I was watching Mr. Glove whip the ball out.22 years on OS and still counting...Comment

That’s on purpose. Many hitters like the ball to come in with as little spin as possible. More than a knuckleball, but less than a normal four seam.
The glove-toss keeps the spin down, but allows just enough rotation to stay on plane.
