Official 2021 Uniform Errors and Omissions

Year 8 of this thread folks. Reminder, this isn’t a wishlist. It’s inaccurate uniforms or omissions of 2021 threads. No hey developers stuff either. I’m getting this on 4-20 (ps5) and I know people will get it before me. I have a ton going on in my personal life with work, family business, family health issues and I coach myself (15 hour days are killing me) so all help is appreciated. There’s not too much this year, but I would expect the 7 city jerseys to be in (upon reveal via patch) cause they aren’t one-offs (4th of July, negro leagues), but regular alternates (I think they are stupid) Attach pics if you’d like, but you gotta be descriptive and I’ll update the master list. Thanks!

League wide ERROR- most, if not all teams using the warmup 3/4 sleeve-(only some teams went with a back number) as warmup/BP/ST jersey. This has been retired for at least 3, maybe four years now.

NLE
Braves: ERROR- using old dugout jackets. TC1 should be navy and 2 red.
Marlins: MISSING- City Connect uniform.
Mets: ERROR- 2000 home and black alternate should use black socks not blue.
Nationals:
Phillies: ERROR- 70s missing NOB, 80s should be maroon not red.

NLC
Brewers: ERROR- fans, mascot, and field flags are old logos.
Cardinals: ERROR- using outdated warm ups (single bird on bat rather than a full chest logo like the game jersey). When wearing blue hats on the road, they should have blue belts.
Cubs: MISSING- City Connect uniform.
Pirates: ERROR- 94 batterman logo should be black-white-red.
Reds: ERROR- 69 jerseys use wrong font. It should be regular block. Mascot in wrong uniform.

NLW
Diamondbacks: MISSING- City Connect uniform. ERROR- mascot in wrong uniform.
Dodgers: MISSING- City Connect Uniform.
Giants: MISSING- City Connect uniform. ERROR- 83 should have a solid black helmet. Font is too thin on home NOBs.
Padres: ERROR- 1984 tc2 should be yellow not orange. Current yellow accessories are more of a mustard color not yellow.
Rockies: ERROR- TC1 should be black and 2 purple.

ALE
Blue Jays: ERROR- powder blue alternates use royal blue team color 1 accessories instead of navy.
Orioles:
Rays: MISSING- Columbia blue warm up/BP jersey. ERROR- Green throwback should have names/numbers outlined in blue.
Red Sox: MISSING- city connect uniform. Patriots Day uniform. ERROR- Nike makers mark should be navy not red on road gray uniforms.
Yankees: ERROR- numbers are too low (I think this is because there is a template and it leaves room for NOB)

ALC
Indians: ERROR- All older uniforms are missing any iteration of Wahoo. I know why, but it’s still an error.
Royals: ERROR- 70s missing NOB.
Tigers:
Twins:
White Sox: MISSING- City Connect uniform.

ALW
Angels: ERROR- 93-96s Angels unis have the incorrect number font (should be varsity block with serifs, not without serifs) and the sleeve patch is slightly off.
Astros: ERROR- Brick red jersey front number should be black outlined in their time specific sand color. It’s also missing sleeve patch as is the white jersey/brick hat combo.
Athletics: ERROR- mascot in wrong uniform.
Mariners:
Rangers: MISSING- All red hat.

STL Cardinals have converted the Sunday home cap into a Sunday home helmet as well.

Will they finally add the yellow pannel on the Brewers batting helmet to match the yellow pannel alternate cap?


As for throwbacks based on leaked videos, 1970's Royals uniforms and 1970's Phillies uniforms are still missing names on the back. Also they still have the 1980 Phillies in the current red instead of the proper Maroon.

Another error not addressed. 1990 Red Sox still have red undershirts when they should be Navy!

1993-1996 California Angels road caps are still red when they should be Navy.

Don't if you had a chance to look at the All Uniforms video posted in another thread but I notice a few new throwbacks and was curious if they're accurate.

Those 2 are both accurate.

The Tigers alternate was only worn in one game.

Looks like the Blue Jays powder blues still have royal blue sleeves and not navy.

Anyone know if they finally added yellow panel batting helmets for the Brewers?


Also 1995 Marlins cap is wrong as it should be teal crown with black blills. Again they have the 95 road looking like the 993-95 home.

The Cardinals Batting Practice / Spring training jerseys should be the red jersey with the birds on the bat.. not the red jersey with the single bird on the bat. They haven't worn those in 2-3 years.

Rangers all red cap is missing. The ‘94 cap is close but the alt cap still isn’t in the game

Do the Giants' 1983-1993 home uniforms still have the orange-billed batting helmets? They should be all-black.

I noted this last year, so they didn't change it:

And we all know that the mid-90s Angels road unis need all-navy hats instead of the red brims.

Tiny nitpick:

In the game, the '94 Pirates hats have a batterman logo that is black/white/yellow, when in real life it was black/white/red.
