I saw in the first set up (casual, sim, competitive) the user can set the level but -- can that be changed at a later time so in game we don't have to progress up to HOF / Legend? I'm not seeing where that setting can be adjusted in the settings.

I wish!!! I tend to hover around an all star plus skill level. I have one good inning and it’s welcome to hall of fame jabroni, where I proceed to strike out and fly out for the rest of the game lol

You can change the progression rate in sliders. I like all star+ for hitting and HOF for pitching.
