Visual Equipment Glitch in 20?

I noticed it first in an exhibition game on one of the compression sleeves. Like a neon sign flashing on and off. Now I'm noticing it on about 70% of the players shoes. Anything that isn't just one flat color. It's extremely distracting and now I can't unsee it. Anyone else experienced this? I purchased the game digitally if that would matter.

Sadly I have no idea how to post video here off my phone. Any compression sleeve with a design rather than solid color is doing it. Also any Under Armour and Nike shoes. It's quite bizarre

The compression sleeve I did not notice. But in 20, I did notice when I went to the ps5 that my shoes would get blurry then not blurry then blurry... etc... etc... etc... It never happened when I was on the ps4 playing it so I took it to be some sort of weird texture thing and just ignored it.

I mostly just played RTTS when I got my ps5 and did not wear an compression sleeve or any other equipment so I only have knowledge about the shoes.

Interesting. I played 20 on my PS4 before switching to the PS5. Didn't notice it. Are the Devs even aware of this and if so I wonder if there's anything they can do. Definitely annoying and also distracting in a game that requires focus and concentration trying to hit. Thought I was going crazy but glad to see I'm not the only one getting this...

Yeah it's very annoying and distracting me. Honestly it may be a small issue, but its whats keeping me from playing the ps4 version on Ps5. Wanted SOTS and everything, but I can't help being distracted by my player's cleats and arm sleeves.

I’m very interested in trying to resolve this bug or find a work around because the PS4 “version” of the game has SOTS and until it is resolved, I’d rather play the PS5 “version” which does not have SOTS. I had the visual artifacting happen on both 20 and 21, but 21 is far worse because the compression sleeve logos are disappearing and reappearing. On every player the cleats become very low resolution and then seem to load the texture. I’m convinced it is a problem with lighting/shadows. Hopefully someone has found some combination of settings or possibly even television settings that allows a work around to the artifacting?

The sleeves changing to a darker shade of color have been in the game for a few years now, maybe longer. It happens when either the human or cpu pitcher selects the pitch type. It's one of those things that once you see it you can't unsee it.

Just experimented in Comerica Park 7:00 PM April game partly cloudy weather. While the sun was still up, the visual glitch was much less prominent. Basically just a quick blink of the cleats when the pitcher comes set. When the stadium lights came on, the glitch became much worse with the cleat textures constantly blinking throughout the at bat.

Sorry for the bump, but I just recently got a PS5 and have started to notice this.

I'm still playing the PS4 version of 21. I noticed it on the sleeves but it didn't bother me. Now that I'm playing on the PS5, I'm seeing it on the cleats. But not just in game. If I go into the player editor, and change cleats it happens as well.

Does it happen on the PS5 version?

It does not happen on the PS5 version. Just when playing the PS4 version on PS5

I caved and bought the PS5 version of 21. The texture warping was really starting to annoy me, and I'm way too invested in my 21 franchise at this point to start over with 22.
