Does Half Inning Fast Forward ever NOT result in CPU runs?

Every. Single. Time. I use the FF feature to skip pitching a half inning, CPU dumps at least a couple runs on me. I could have my ace in there, I could have been pitching a shutout. It doesn't matter.

Sometimes I just don't want to pitch a half inning here or there, but I cannot use the feature unless I'm up a ton.

I think this is really punitive for a feature that's in the game. If they don't want people using it, it shouldn't be there - otherwise, it should sim like a normal game. Most teams don't score every at bat.
