Okay so everyone who has played this game for any longer than a couple years probably knows how horrendous this game has ALWAYS been with not scoring errors properly. Idk how everyone else feels but for me this has now become my biggest pet peeve and issue with the game starting just this year.
I've always kind of swept it under the rug saying no big deal, not a game breaker. And no, it's not. However when I continue to see blatant errors not scored nearly every single game it sticks out so much because other than that the gameplay IMO is by far the best ever for the MLBTS series.
I think it's time for the game to once and for all score errors properly. And I'm talking straight dropped fly balls, relay throw error leading to runner taking extra base that isn't scored an error, but instead a xbh. A single up the middle and CF bobbles the ball in his attempt to field it and runner takes 2nd base. Scored a flipping double instead of a single, E8 as it should.
I don't expect it to score everything perfectly but my God sometimes it is infuriating the lack of scoring errors on blatant obvious errors. This causes my pitcher's ERA and team ERA to rise and of course I'm top 3 in fielding % when I know darn well my team is middle of the pack at best.
I can't fathom this being a very difficult thing to fix. Forget all the stuff outside of the gameplay and on field play. Can we once and for all get something as simple as a fielding error scored correctly please? Thank you. Rant over.
