    Re: Free Agency Phases

Free Agency I is the initial Free Agency that occurs 5 days after the conclusion of the World Series where players that achieve 6 years of MLB Service time and are no longer under contract become free agents. Free Agency II occurs after the deadline to set 40 man rosters for the Rule 5 draft (no new players become free agents in this period unless released by an organization). Free Agency III occurs after the Arbitration Offer deadline where players need to be offered arbitration or become Free Agents. Free Agency IV is the final stage that occurs after the “contract renewal” deadline for non-arbitration eligible players, such as those with 1-2 years of MLB service. If you don’t offer a contract to “contract renewable” players by this date (December 2nd every year I believe) they will be considered “Non-tendered” and become free agents. Hope this helps!

That's perfect! Helps out a ton for filling out my roster in the offseason. Thanks!
