That pci patch was needed dudes were just pitching to the corners, and you couldn’t do anything about it.

So just to clarify...the adjustment to Pinpoint Pitching only effects "Competitive" game styles and not "Simulation?"

I've been playing on Simulation all year, but have also thought that it is a bit too easy to get perfect inputs with PPP.

Are you playing on competitive?

Because I am reading this as applying to Comp/Legend on all modes - not Competitive and Legend (on Comp/Casual/Sim).

(I'm not saying I am right either....I think the wording in their notes is a touch unclear)

I read it to be that the PCI change was universal and the pinpoint accuracy pitching mechanic was tuned for Competitive and Legend.

Oh....this would definitely be good news if its the case. I play on Legend pitching so I would still get the changes without having to switch to competitive.

SdS obviously doesn't have the ability to fix it. Nor night games in created stadiums as promised.

I can understand created stadiums causing some problems.

Not having night time games in Dodger stadium is unacceptable and game breaking. I don’t understand how people can even play the game with that type of bug.

I mean technically you’re right. The game isn’t unplayable.

But this almost the same thing as [insert team name] always playing rain games. Yea you can still play and enjoy I guess.. but wtf is this sh!t?? They had all year to fix this. I bought every game since mlb 15. One reason is because I trust the studio to make a quality game. Sad to say that took a hit this year.

On a positive note, if you play multiple seasons, the issue for those few teams only happens in year one. Also, you could just use a different team as your franchise team.

Probably the addition of the PS5 and the addition of xbox, plus maybe covid? made this a tough year for their product. I expect great things next release. And I've been playing this version all summer and having a great time with it.

As been stated before, there was a similar issue with the Cubs game times in a previous version and when SDS fixed the issue, it caused existing franchises to become corrupt therefore causing people to lose franchises they were deep into.

My guess would be that this is a similar situation where the fix would cause a corruption of existing franchise, so while its extremely frustrating and annoying, the better option is to leave as be, and fix for '22.

Or it could be they cannot figure out how to fix it since its such an obscure bug in that it effects only 4 teams and only at a certain portion of the schedule, and isn't existent in year 2, or year 3 from my experience.
