Carry over question

Hey guys,
So I have a franchise going from 17 to 18. I’m in the playoffs and I tried to carry it over to 19 but said something about not being able to. It said something about a calendar year so it wouldn’t let me. How do I fix this?

You have to play one full season in the version you're trying to transfer to the next version. If you're in '17 and you've carried it to '18, you'll have to complete one calendar year in '18 to advance to '19.

Are you trying to go from '17 to '19?

Are you trying to go from '17 to '18 (not playing a season) and then to '19?

Which version are you on that you're trying to go to '19 with?
