Is MLB The Show 21 worth getting?

I just got a PS5. Is this version better than 20? For example, does Cole have longer hair in this version? Is the gameplay any better than 20? Thanks for your feedback.

Yes it's most definitely worth it. The gameplay is the best it's ever been in the series. Not sure about Cole's hair. I wanna say it's a bit longer but I don't really pay much attention to Cole

I'm enjoying it. Never had 20 so can't give an opinion on it. I had 19 and played it for two years. I don't believe in purchasing sports games every year anymore. I'm getting older and wiser to the business of games. So far I like it better than 19. Haven't played enough games to do a solid comparison tho.

No way, definitely a transition year. Wait and see if the features that were missing or removed are back in 22 before buying.

I take back my comment on the number on the bill of the helmet. The reason it looks absurd is the font that is used is wrong. I understand the code they use can only use the number font from the back of the jersey when in reality the number on the back of the helmet and the bill is a totally different number font. Maybe one day it will get corrected. It's just funny how after all these years it suddenly appeared on MLB The Show 21 and wasn't there in previous versions.

If it wasn't on GamePass I wouldn't have got it until it was less than $20.
