Could have told me this was any game between MLB 17 and 22 and I would have believed you. When retired players are the selling point in the first trailer...ho boy.

Wow so the reveal is….gameplay, animations and graphics that look exactly the same as past editions. I haete to say it but I’ve never been so not excited for a Show release since I started playing The Show ‘08.

Doesn't look like gameplay to me. It looks like clips from the in house engine combined into a commercial and then a legend reveal for DD?

One thing I noticed was that Marcus Stroman was on the Cubs. He signed on December 1st, so they seemingly at least have free agent signings/roster moves up through the lockout.

Yup I feel exactly the same way. Might be my first year I skip the game.

The only reason I’m not skipping it is because it’s on gamepass. This is highly disappointing.

I give up. It looks no different. Like....the same as 18, 19, 20, etc. Everything is so stale and Madden and NBA 2k make this look like a joke. But hey, at least we get new legends and card packs!

DD has ruined the priorities of this DEV team. They are now on the same level as EA.

They're really just never going to meaningfully upgrade the graphics aren't they? Beyond the lighting, resolution, and framerate; this game has looked basically the same for nearly a decade.

Pisses me off honestly. You know there have been meetings where it has been brought up, but DD is the cash cow, so just like EA, they will never focus on what the fans truly want, ever again. Just enough lipstick for the idiots to go out and buy the game again and get sucked into card packs.
