I still would not get my hopes up. I mean if there were major changes to Franchise they would not have left it off the original schedule in the first place or would have fixed it sooner.

I also believe that they did a franchise/MTO combo last year as some of their updates (depth chart) applied to both.

This is the stream that will determine if I buy or not.

I do find it somewhat intriguing that they add franchise to the premiere schedule the same day the CBA is agreed upon.

maybe they enhanced the roster depth chart for Franchise !?

ok...just kidding. It's encouraging they added it to the stream, specially after that great new announcers/presentation package.

I don't see MTO as a replacement of Franchise but something that will eventually merge with it. If they add injuries, custom rosters to start the season with and maybe the ability to switch back to a full franchise mode anytime during the season ( instead of at the end of 1st season), it can be a winner.
