Really like everything they are saying. Gotta admit, though, bragging about weaving chatter throughout at-bats and later in the game is something MLB 2K had, literally, 10 years ago, was not a good look. But that is nitpicking.

But, man, pulling raw audio from ESPN is something really smart, and a cool use of technology. Will be really curious if this makes the color commentary better, but with the way AI is being used to create fakes and such, I bet they can stitch those cuts into a lot of situations.

But all of the clips of them working together in context just sounded pitch perfect. They seem like they have the right mission. Hope they pull it off as well as it sounded.

I’m curious “IF”, and how the fan cam would work in created stadiums (which curiously has not been talked about much). I watch a lot of CPU vs CPU in my custom franchises, so this low-key might be my favorite addition. I’ve had to create “glitches” in create a stadium (CAS) in 21 to sneak into the crowd to rewatch games via replay vault 😂

Hoping there might be an easy way to implement such things in CAS to make my wildest dreams come true.

I couldn’t help but notice that none of the catchers who wear Nike catching equipment had it on during this stream. Surely that hasn’t been removed?

This was great.

Before the Tech Test, i haven’t played 1 inning of The Show since ‘17.

Really looking forward of getting back into this Franchise…on a PS5 no less!

That guy they hired from ESPN really has a great eye for Broadcasting & taking what we see IRL & translating it into the game. Props to them for this
