The bottom line is, the bottom line. $$$. The NBA has advertising on its uniforms and its bringing in a HUGE amount of money for the league, and guess what, the arenas are FULL. Here in Cleveland, the Cavs resurgence has had a very positive effect on the energy for the NBA in the city and they're doing very well selling tickets, and nobody is talking about advertising. So, obviously the majority of fans don't care about patches on the uniforms. So, there ya go.

Makes me wonder how many more years it’ll be before they’re painting huge ads in the outfield grass.

No Spring Training uniforms. Instead we're stuck with generic uniforms with no names/numbers on back.
