Yeah, I saw that. $50 for some packs and 4 days of gameplay seems like a gigantic ripoff to me. I'll wait the 4 days.

        Kind of an interesting approach.

I've talked about this in the DD forum, but this is very overpriced. Even if they don’t want to go the Forza route of just paying the price difference of the standard and deluxe editions, they could at least make the pricing make sense. The difference of standard and MVP is $15 and the difference for Digital Deluxe is $30, but what you get from this $50 bundle isn’t even as good as the MVP edition.

If you want to play early, you'd actually be better off if you bought the physical MVP edition, played that until it was out on Game Pass, then sell the disc or trade it in, you should be able to get at least $35 for it.

It sure does! Would have been fine with $20 max, but at $50 a complete ripoff. No thanks.

It's going to be so tempting on Friday. I think I'll plan on finishing Guardians instead to take away the temptation

Yeah, I'd probably give them $20 today for the early access. $50 is crazy

There are going to be people that buy it just to play a game a few days early...this is why companies will continue to do stuff like this because they know FOMO will drive people to spend money.

I'd strongly consider it at $20. But $50 is just unreal. Games just keep getting greedier and greedier with their monetization

The MVP edition is only $84 which is like $15 more than the standard next gen version……. It’s a no brainer for me lol

Me too. I was gonna wait it out until the standard release. But I play a lot of franchise games on my PS4 Pro upstairs. It's a lot easier to keep tabs on my 2 year old daughter in a single room as opposed to the den in the basement. But it's only 15$ difference between the 70$ standard and MVP Edition and I can play this weekend. I'd be on here reading and jonesing to play the game the whole weekend anyway. Lol

I am attempting to understand this. I am a Game Pass subscriber and was just planning on playing the regular version of the game on April 5th for free. So as I currently understand it, the $49.99 only gets you the 4 days early access as well as some packs / stubs. So we all know that games at some point will be removed from Game Pass. If I get this deal does this mean I own the game and can play it 5 years from now when it has been removed from Game Pass?

If not I see this as a pretty big ripoff since I can spend $15.00 more for the MVP edition and actually own the game and play it years down the road. Or just wait and play for free on the normal release date and play it a year or two for free. Then if this version becomes a favorite, like many think of '20, I can buy the game for $5.00 retail when it leaves Game Pass.

That doesn’t work for games with a set global release time like The Show.

You don’t own the game with the $50 bundle
