Rookie of the year glitch?

Sorry if this has been asked or answered already, but I am about 10 games into my twins 30 team control franchise and I am seeing weird rookie of the year stuff in the awards section. It has 2nd year players as the early favorite for the award. India is off to a hot start as in the favorite for ROY right now… only problem is he played 150 games and won it last year. Anyone else seeing this?

isn't this the glitch that's older than the ps4 & much like rotating scheds, can't be fixed?
or am I misremembering?

Been like this forever, sadly. Every year it's the same thing with some type of service time glitches that creep up in franchise. You'll go crazy sending bug reports or trying to fix it manually in the rosters. Just ignore the awards in general if you can for your own sanity.

I never pay much attention to awards, but I just got done simming a season for testing and checked who won, Torkelson and Oneil Cruz. Seems legit to me, is the bug just about showing those players earlier in the season?

That might be just because they really were the rookies of the year though. one year there the game thought Acuna was still a rookie prospect along with a few others. it might be the same for India this year.

Yup, same in RttS....India won RoY for 2022 in my league.

So it shows him as back to back RoY winner.

No clue how stuff like this can get through testing.....but we all know if it doesn't effect DD, they don't care...
