Appreciate the input but it's important to understand why someone was banned. And this is an instance where you made an assumption which would appease you which is completely incorrect.

That user that was recently banned in this thread was actually a previously banned user who was banned months ago in a completely different forum for something that had nothing to do with criticizing that game but very directly trolling another individual.

I'm pointing this out because of the claim you and others made about OS banning others for criticizing the game which we do not do.


The user in this thread told on himself as a PBU by calling out users he's previously had very specific issues with but knowing that he didn't have anything to lose since he no longer has the right to post on OS he felt free to troll as he wished.


SO to be clear, the user in this thread that was recently banned was not banned for anything he's ever posted with this new account he created.

Always appreciate the accusations and hope the rest of your night goes well though.

To add to kehlis’ post - it’s worth noting that the only person who said something like this was me, a guy who has never had the ability to ban anyone here.

Or fixing a 300 lb ss Phillies player who’s stuck in my franchise because they can’t do a “fix all” option like they do for face scans. Like I said it is the removing players is annoying as hell and makes it impossible to get accurate rosters with everyone on that you want with face scans and audio ( I find audio more important to me then face scans because we can always fix a face ) it isn't necessary to do it and it is really bad this year.

THIS is how you make a critical post. Well written and articulated. Fair criticism, doesn't unnecessarily attack anyone.

Niner will tell you that he and I have rarely seen eye to eye (in this forum at least). But this post is a GREAT example of how to constructively post criticism.

Niner has very much criticized this game for years in the right way and he's still here and is a very valuable member of the community.

Let's just stop the (small) narrative that OS bans anyone who says anything negative about the game. It's very much allowed. Basically, just don't be a jerk to others.

LOL no I mean 100% agree that people can use constructive criticism!! I didn't mean they shouldn't did I word that wrong? I was typing with kids around me haha.

So yeah I can go on a rant at times and the Y2Y saves thing will continue to bug me. and I know a lot of people don't agree with me with my DD thoughts. but we don't insult each other over it.

I actually thought the user was banned because of that not coitizing the game but because of comments to other users. but turns out it was previous issues.

Thanks kehlis I know we haven't always seen eye to eye, but always been respectful to each other, sometimes some people have to think before hitting send because you can regret in hours later and feel stupid. I have done so in the past and not just here.

Also can say have never have I been given at any time a warning to stop posting my criticism or I would be 'banned' for it. (same goes for madden I have even more criticism about things with that game!!) where as the show I love the game and play it more then any other game. Just that where sports games are heading with things has huge red flags in my opinion.

I figure the Mets will cut Robinson Cano loose sometime in the next couple or 3 weeks, before he ever makes his appearance in Show 22. and what will be ironic if he never plays again after that, is if he's then a free agent on the default roster of Show 23 lol

I doubt it they will have to pat $48 million of the contract of dead money if they do that. he has 2023 as well.

Reminds me of that year we were waiting for Grady Sizemore that was missing then when he finally was in the game he was done for the year injured again lol

A few things I want to fix in my franchise roster that I wish I could. and I actually made about 50 Joe randoms of generic service time and stats to use so they are not rookies to add anytime.

I wish I could delete Trevor Beaur from my franchise all I can do is make the ratings to 0 but he is in the free agents and I would have to sign him somewhere first to do it. haha

I touched on it before Bryson Stott (who has been demoted) is 300 Lb in my franchise sadly I had started it before the fix. if they can do a 'fix all' to face scans I don't know why they can't do this for height and weight as well. I guess the data for that in linked to the roster file and the face scans are linked to the data folder not part of the roster at all. an import player option to franchise would fix all of this. I can understand why they can't make this work it would screw the stats up. but maybe they can have it as if you import over a guy it keeps that guys career stats. but it just changes all his other info and attributes

How I long for a PC version to fix all this stuff with player IDS to fix it all.

as for sony removing players to add players.. many years ago does anyone remember Madden 10 when you could export a team and import them into a roster?? I know what could solve that issue of removing face scan guys allowing us to do that. if they don't want us to export individual face scan guys.

Honestly you are never gonna get a sports games that allows 100% custom rosters. and yeah it may be a 'conspiracy' some say. but I really think it is done on purpose so that you have a reason to keep buying the next years game.

Imagine if they let us export every single players edit career stats. edit age. EVERYTHING. you could have mlb the show 22 with accurate rosters 4 years later.
