short of Elon Musk buying SDS, we'll probably have to keep wishing
Why would want Musk to buy SDS?

So when you play the Show your Xbox falls apart and catches on fire?

Ideas to improve MLB The Show 23 (a more detailed wishlist of sorts)

It’s gotta be said this presentation remains pretty bad in franchise mode. They stopped showing the score-by-innings graphic to start the 8th, they stopped showing the defensive alignment intro, they took out showing the SP’s final line, and the announcers say absolutely nothing about standings and very little about stats.

So much wasted time, lines about how someone is good on defense and that’s why he’s in the lineup or droning on endlessly about umpires every game, my god just talk about how the hitter is hitting (or not) and give some stats. Why is so hard for people to see why one gets repetitive and one does not?

The ticker & stats in the pop-up box on The Show package are pretty awesome. The rest of this presentation is stuck in 2008.

Gates isn't on the board at Microsoft anymore, and I believe he only owns like 1% of the company these days.

The ability to use ground level scoreboards that are even with fences and the fences and scoreboard are in play.

Would love the ability to upload team patches from the Internet logos to put on sleeves and uniforms.
Plus actual ads found on Internet.that we can put on classic ballpark fences like Ebbets Field.
Right now I use "Tower White Poles" For Poles in my stadium unfortunately the lights are distracting.
Ability to turn off individual lights Or just add equivalent type Poles.

The one big thing missing this year for me is all the historic names of ball players please add all the audio names from the show 2021
.
Baseball has a rich history of colorful names of players and teams please don't subtract Indian from the vocabulary it's part of our history.

When I create the Cleveland Indians I would love to be hear their actual name.
Also would love to hear the Cincinnati Redlegs etc.

Last but not least Y2Y...

Thanks

Something that would be advantageous to roster creators is to add a text to speech synthesizer using Boog's voice.
Something that could be used for all the players names that are missing plus any team name that you want.

Not to beat a Dead Horse with no Y2Y this year and a small selection of names missing my Motivation and incentive has been stifled. It's a shame really because this game is just absolutely mind blowing good. If I got A heads up that Y2Y Would resume next year and the name database would Be the same as 2021 My personal choice then would be to )created all my players this year to use next year.

Otherwise anybody who's building teams and loves Ebbets Field I'm spending all my time on that field for sentimental reasons a lot of fun on that.

Make sure you get my latest rendition. Enjoy

Re: Ideas to improve MLB The Show 23 (a more detailed wishlist of sorts)

1. The ability to edit the names, appearance, and attributes of managers and coaches.
2. Custom draft classes. Can you imagine giving the talented roster editors and creators the ability to create upcoming draft classes that we would be able to find in the vault?
3. If games are tied at the end of the 9th inning in spring training games, the game ends in a tie. The game doesn’t count in the standings but all stats do. This is what happens in real life spring training.
4. 30 different custom spring training stadiums out of the box that are just like their counterparts in Florida and Arizona.
5. Different stadium announcers for each team. The same announcer has gotten stale over the years… change it up. It wouldn’t have to be each team’s actual announcer just one who sounds like an announcer.
6. Updated content from the play by play and color commentator crew to keep reputation to a minimum.
7. More custom stadium sounds and chants out of the box (Tomahawk Chop, organs, jet flyovers, sirens, etc out of the box in their appropriate stadium that you don’t have to put in via Sounds of the Show).
