What’s the deal with mini seasons

I always breeze through the season, like winning 90% of the games and then suddenly in the playoffs the CPU is painting the corners like crazy and fouling off almost every good pitch I throw at them

With all due respect, there’s a problem with winning 90% of games.

Fair enough, but either way it’s like the difficulty level goes up 2 notches when you reach the playoffs. I mean if I wanted to balance out the regular season I should go from all-star to hall of fame but then I would never ever win a mini season.

Re: What’s the deal with mini seasons

I dunno what mini seasons are, but what I would like to know is what's the deal with Ovaltine?
comes in a round container, you put it in a round glass, why don't they call it Roundtine?

but seriously, the postseason should feel a little more competitive but probably not that much
unless you're the 2001 Mariners, winning 110+ games probably ought to culminate with a World Championship imo
