Fielder Reaction @ 4 (on pretty much default All Star / All Star level) has mitigated this for me, for years.

Looked at my franchise numbers last night. I am through 152 games right now. Next to last in my franchise with 113 GIDPs (which projects out to 120 over 162). Last year, the league average was 111 (115 in 2019). One other interesting thing; the Nats hit into 158 last year (so nearly 1 per game); so even if you're at THAT level of bad, you're still not out of the realm of realism.

The "issue" is not a gameplay issue; it is sim stat issue (the sim stats are too low, which makes our more realistic numbers look worse). Definitely no need to chase sliders here.
