Forrest vs Anderson?

Silva got this, but should be nothing less than a war.

101 looks just as good as 100. I wonder who Thiago is going to fight though.

People said the same about forrest, against shogun, rampage and tito to. Forrest is a good fighter, i think his range and long reach can provide some problems for Anderson along with his leg kicks (Anderson got bothered by Chonan's kicks YEARS ago in Pride). Forrest also has a huge size advantage. I think Forrest will try to test the waters a bit on the feet before shooting in and trying to get anderson down.

It should be a good scrap, never count Forrest Griffin out, he has shocked us all before.

Finally, someone to press the issue against Silva. Even if Griffin gets KTFO, I'll applaud him. This is going to be a great fight.

If Silva wins I guess they vacate the MW title, because what's the point in having him hold it if he could just permanently stay at LHW, since he's not being challenged in the MW division.

God I hope Forrest can pull this off some how.

It would probably be best for both divisions. LHW gets a killer and MW is WIDE OPEN.

Time for Demian Maia to get his belt!

Just thought I'd chime in here and say that Penn isn't a top 5 pound for pound. I think he showed that when he got his *** beat by GSP trying to move up weight.

They wont have to do that. The fight is going to be a good fight. If Silva wins spectacularly, then his rep is restored and they can have him fight Bisping, Hendu or Maia. Its actually great news for Okami or Maia. They deserve the next title shot but werent going to be able to get it because they are BJJ fighters who arent that exciting and Leites ruined any chance that a BJJ fighter gets the next chance. If Silva destroys perhaps the most popular fighter in the UFC..he becomes a main event fighter again and maybe Dana isnt worried about putting Silva against someone like Maia

If he loses, he's still the middleweight champ and can at the minimum face the winner of Bisping/Hendo or Wanderlei.

I know one thing, Griffin is not going to let up on Anderson.

It'll be an awesome fight...and Griffin might be the kind of fighter that can beat Silva.
