Are you going to practice 1st or just go straight to online play ?

Me personally, I am going to treat this as any other sports game or game period. Play the single player for a tad bit, get the controls down tight, then venture online.

Being it is so many players, I am going to experiment for a while to see who I like playing with the most. I'm a ground guy, so I am going to experiment with Maia, Nate Diaz, BJ Penn, Nog, Mir, Gonzaga, Alemedia, Thiago Alves and Paraysian.

Then try the strikers out....Anderson Silva, Jardine, Rampage, etc.

Then move on the wrestlers.....Dan, Matt, Koscheck, Diego Sanchez, Sherk.

Once I'm done with that, going to pick my best fighter that I'm good with for each category and thats who I am going to roll with online.

Overall I am going to try to get good with a well rounded fighter that can do it all. That way I can counter whomever I face online, whether they are a striker, wrestler or ground expert.

Something tells me though it will way more striker players online then ground guys, since so far I am seeing so many people having trouble with submissions.

The only intention I have towards playing online is in the league Phobia set up.

Aside from that, it will be purely single player for me.

I won't be fighting randoms that's for sure, only League and OS'ers.

I'll probably jump right into the career mode, dick around with that for a bit. Do some exhibition fights with some guys I want to play with, then jump online. I don't mind fighting strangers, I think is one of those games where there's probably a decent way to punish cheesers.

I'll finish a career with my preferred CAF then take him online. I hope everyone realizes that your CAF will reflect how well you're doing in that particular career. IE yes, you can take your CAF online at any time, but he'll only have the stats of that time. So if you take him online with only 1 fight under his belt his stats will be insanely low. Whereas if you take him after training him up to what you want him to be, then he'll be a much more solid fighter in the way that you've built him.

Same here. Maybe play a random here and there, when I feel like owning them real quick.
