Fight Night Magazine tidbit...

via wikipedia: In the May 2009 issue of Fight! Magazine, THQ highlighted some of the setbacks they faced during the game's development as a result of various clipping issues within the collision detection. They stated that they removed rising UFC star Clay Guida from the roster due to the clipping issues presented by his lengthy hair on his character model and even offered him money to cut it but he refused. Southpaw stances were also excluded for clipping issues. As such, southpaw fighters such as Rich Franklin fight with the more traditional right-hand stance in the game.

This is very bad news. How can you have no southpaw?

Sure this is bad news, but have you played the demo. The creators of this game are not no talent scrubs, and the demo proves it.

And given the choice of having southpaws and Guida's hair, or great collision detection, I'm taking the collision detection every time. The demo had great detection aside from certain punches not quite connecting, but I never saw any instances of the fighters going through one another, etc. that plague games like NBA 2K9.

Are you serious????????? Because they could not include Guida or south paw they are no talented scrubs. Wow I think I just found a "troll". I have never thrown that term around ever cause I hate it. But this is just flaming hate around for ZERO reason.

Why should we have to choose? I'd choose competent game makers who dont overlook major parts of a game because they suck at their jobs.
