I guess CroCop doesn't have any subs or wasn't playing with the meter on because he could've got Brock at least 3 times in the first round.

Dark I am sorry to tell u but you CAN block low and it will check the kick. The stun won't happen. It sounds like you don't want to stop blocking high and people are just taking advantage of your telegraphing strategy. I know from fighting my cousin for weeks in the demo. That blocking low will give u the ability to both check the kick AND prevent these so say "pauses".

Keep at it, it will get easier.

Re: Official UFC Undisputed 2009 Impressions

Regarding Darkleaf's claims of easy exploits, I played about 30-40 online matches today and have had no problems with leg kicks. But everyone's already seemed to debunk that. On two separate occasions, I was caught in the MTC and was able to grab his leg and take him down when he tried with the knee. Once people catch on that MTC knees can be easily countered, they won't be nearly as effective.

Submissions are much easier. Especially when you have transition spammers that like to run through the motions step by step one after the other like a choreographed dance. Once you transition block, they still try to transition out, so I just wait for them to do it 3-4 times and gas themselves then move in for the submission. I just hope my controller can last with all the palm shuffling I'm doing with it. Submissions are definitely the most gratifying win, especially when done two minutes into the first round on Anderson Silva or with 0:01 left in the round when they tap.

Only real problem seems to be that quitters don't get penalized. Penalizing quitters should be as mandatory as auto-save is in all games today.

Re: Official UFC Undisputed 2009 Impressions

Please guys, check career mode and specially if there are computer generated scrubs to fight against when you start or if you start fighting the same 12 guys over and over with increased difficulty. It would be dissapointing to fight vs a current top star with his ratings adjusted to your own level.

It's something that bothers me of tennis games for example, where you play vs the same guys again and again but they are scrubs at first and more difficult later as you advance.
