Re: Official UFC Undisputed 2009 Impressions

Couple question for those with the game:

1. Is there a fatigue factor in the game? It'd be nice if in the later rounds the fighters slowed down/ droped their hands from fatigue

2. Is there a create a PPV mode in the game? this would be great

the game should be great... tuesday is gonna be a fight night lol

Tks.

Re: Official UFC Undisputed 2009 Impressions

The only question I have is about different weight classes. Is there a noticeable difference between the pace of fights for the lightweights compared to the heavyweights? I don't want the weight classes to feel the same.

Love the game, but I have a lot of work to do. I'm not very good yet.

I like the difference in each fighters, how you can push the pace in the smaller weight classes. I got GnP'd as Mir by Brock in about 2 minutes. So realistic.

Career Mode is alright. I don't like the time between fights. With the load times and trainging it can be more than 10 minutes until your able to fight. I just want to dive in, ya know? But that's just me, though. Load times do suck on the 360, but that's probably a Yukes thing since SDvR is the same. I wish you could set up a PPV just to get around them.

Really, this game is the epitome of "easy to play, hard to master". Getting better is addictive for me.

I just hope the lag isn't awful. Playing online is going to be what I use the most.

I'm in the same boat as Dookie. I look forward to career but I'm all about playing my friends on XBL. There have been a few people that mentioned lag but overall most seem to say it's okay. Guess we will find out in a couple of days.

The guy on the Undisputed Online forums that's had the game for like a week now has been fighting online the last few days and said lag hasn't been much of an issue. He's only really noticing it when the screen goes gray when someone gets rocked.

He also says he's absolutely cleaning up with ground-and-pound since most people don't know how to fight on the ground. If you're gonna go online right away, better make sure your ground game is solid.

Niiiice... that's what I like to hear. This definitely seems like a game that rewards skill unlike NBA 2K9 and many others that reward garbage play just as much. If you really know what you're doing and can play to your fighter's strengths (especially if it's the ground game), novices and cheesers won't stand a chance, except those random flash KOs that they'll inevitably get 1 out of every 10 or so matches.

Re: Official UFC Undisputed 2009 Impressions

If you can't see who they're picking how is weight class decided? Do you decide before the game? Like there's a lobby for each class or you both have to agree to it before the fight?

Nakamura and Karo must own online with people playing that way.
