CroCop returning to the UFC in one month!!

I wish CroCop wasn't so damn adamant about staying at HW. He needs to go to 205.

Pat hides bad hands behind his kicks. Crocop has very good hands when he uses them.

I always said the best version of crocop is when he uses his punches and supplements them with kicks. In some of his mma fights he relied to much on just throwing LHK and LBK from outside. When he beat wanderlei it really showed crocops hands again, and he just finished off with LHK.

I agree on the 205 thing, i think hed be much better at stuffing the takedowns, defending takedowns in the ring is easier then the cage, because you have nothing to be pushed up against, crocop is great at sprawling out on shots, but the size difference really shows when pressed against the cage clinched.

I am happy to see him make a return and this should be a good matchup for him. After seeing him get manhandled by Gonzaga, Kongo, and Overeem, I agree that he might want to drop to 205... or work on his ground game.

I think CroCop's first problem coming into the UFC was that he didn't train for the cage. His style is much better suited for a ring. Another thing is that he got complacent in "right leg hospital, left leg cemetery" and never quite worked on a real ground game. Having strong takedown defense is not enough in the current UFC where everyone is crosstraining.
