Robbie Lawler vs. Jake Shields
Andrei “The Pitbull” Arlovski vs. Brett “The Grim” Rogers
Nick “Bad Boy” Diaz vs. Scott “Hands of Steel” Smith
Phil “New York Bad Ass” Baroni vs. Joe “Diesel” Riggs
Kevin “Monster” Randleman vs. Mike Whitehead

This should be a good card. Is anybody else going to watch this one?

Re: Strikeforce: Lawler vs. Shields 6.06.09

This card is gonne be the ****. I'm really excited about these fights.

Robbie Lawler vs. Jake Shields (GO ROBBIE!)
Andrei “The Pitbull” Arlovski vs. Brett “The Grim” Rogers
Nick “Bad Boy” Diaz vs. Scott “Hands of Steel” Smith

I'll be interested to see how Brett Rodgers does against Arlovski. One of them is getting knocked out. Diaz/Smith is a battle between two guys I like a lot. Their fights are always exciting so I'm expecting some sort of crazy finish.

I haven't seen Randleman fight in ages so I have no idea what to expect out of him.

Robbie Lawler vs. Jake Shields
Robbie is a beast. He'll win by KTFO.

Andrei “The Pitbull” Arlovski vs. Brett “The Grim” Rogers
I like Andrei, but I think Rogers could steal this one.

Nick “Bad Boy” Diaz vs. Scott “Hands of Steel” Smith
Diaz will win by submission, but probably will get a NC because of a failed drug test.

Phil “New York Bad ***” Baroni vs. Joe “Diesel” Riggs
Phil has looked great since dropping to 170. I expect his winning streak to continue.

Kevin “Monster” Randleman vs. Mike Whitehead
Can't call this one, so I pick Whitehead for the upset. He's a solid fighter who might give Kevin problems. I wonder if Randleman will show off his jiu-jitsu in this one....

Re: Strikeforce: Lawler vs. Shields 6.06.09

This weekend is going to be awesome. I think Jake Shields has a chance at the victory. I like Arlovski in a beat down, STAY ON YOUR FEET FOR THIS ONE HUH ARLOVSKI!?! I think Nick DIaz handles hands of steel. I am going with Joe Riggs over Phil 13-10 Baroni. I never liked that guy. I like Whitehead over Randleman also. SHould be another good card.

Re: Strikeforce: Lawler vs. Shields 6.06.09

I am pumped the KR is back! I am a from Ohio and and huge buckeye fan, wrestled when I was in school, so rooting for him is automatic since he wrestled for OSU.

I don't know what to think of AA and Rogers. Rogers is a big heavy weight and hits like a truck, I think he might win AA has a suspect chin.

I used to like Baroni, my friend meet him at the Arnold Expo and said he is a prick (more or less). In fact he said everyone he meet there was cool, except Baroni and Rob McCollough. I still like to watch Baroni fight, because I know he is usually getting his butt kicked. Riggs hasn't been the sharpest lately either, it will probably be a slugfest and whoever lands the first clean shot will win. I been telling my friend at work I wouldn't be shocked to see a double KO!

Smith-Diaz is very interesting. Diaz going back up in weight and Smith is pretty big for the division and has a monster chin. Diaz just peppers people with jab and annoys them into giving up. I could see him getting Smith down at some point and working subs, but Smith is just on a roll I think I am going to go with him in this one. Diaz will be the smaller fighter for the first time in awhile and I don't think he will be nearly as impressive.

Sheild-Lawler is pretty interesting as well. All I know is Jake better get it to the ground quickly or Lawler is going to pound his face. I think Lawler has some of the nastiest striking in MMA. Can't wait should be an excellent card and weekend for MMA.
