This should make for some really exciting fights until they put him in there with someone who can wrestle.

Which, unfortunately for him, is seemingly over half of the UFC's welterweight division. St. Pierre, Hughes, Fitch, Koscheck, Trigg, Parisyan, etc.

So he's gonna have a tough path anywhere near the top of the welterweight division. But it wouldn't be terrible if he merely ended up like a Chris Lytle sort of guy who can consistently deliver exciting fights when matched up against the right guy, even if he's never gonna be a champion.

Plus I'm sure the UFC will always want more exciting British fighters to try and continue to win over that market.

Yeah Semtex vs Lytle was actually the first match up that sprang to mind.
