1) The event that Dana said he's looking at headlining Penn/Sanchez with would be a third event in November, one that he said would not be on PPV, Spike, or HBO. That's fueled speculation that he's closing in on a network TV deal, because that seems to be the only other possible destination.
2) Dana also said that Hendo has been lobbying to get a rematch with Silva to take place at UFC 105. But Dana wants to wait and see what happens between Maia/Marquardt this weekend before committing to anything. My guess is if Maia wins and comes out relatively unscathed, he gets the next shot, but it probably wouldn't be at 105. But if Marquardt wins or Maia gets banged up, I'm betting there's a good chance Silva/Hendo headlines 105.
Regardless, it's still virtually guaranteed we're getting one free title fight in November. And now there's a very real chance we see both Penn/Sanchez and Silva/Hendo free in the same month.
