I had Simpson winning the 2nd and 3rd, but I can understand going the other way. The 2nd was close, tough to call. I guess I'd lean towards giving it to Simpson because Lawlor had a great 1st but then just gassed.
Whats funny is Efrain actually tapped twice. The first time he tapped the ref missed it. He then tried to work his way out of it and ended up catching more damage.

I could see 29-28 either way (Round 1 was very close) but giving it to Maynard 30-27 was the joke of the night.

You hear a lot about judges scoring fights a different way but how can you have so many different scores on a fight that was 100% standing?

I had Diaz winning Rounds 1 and 3. He was more aggresive in the fight and landed more punches.

Maynard didn't do enough to earn a title shot vs Penn. He's also a boring fighter.

As a whole, I thought the card was lackluster. Lol when Rogan said something about the winner of Couture vs. Coleman is probably going to get a title shot. Both guys have no business facing the winner of Machida/Rua.

He was just hyping that fight. No way that winner leap frogs the winner of Rampage/Rashad.

That's what I was thinking when Rogan said that. I was like, "What did he just say?" I almost spit out my drink.

So is Rampage back for good now, or is this just a one time deal with Rashad?

If Rampage wins, we will probably never see him in the Octagon again, lol.

He owes the UFC two fights. Also there is a championship clause, so if he fights for the belt in his last fight, the UFC can extend his contract.
