I agree. I just don't think GSP has the body frame to hold his own with Silva. Skillwise and stylistically I think it would be a very interesting fight... if they had the same frame. Just like I think GSP and BJ would be more interesting if BJ had the same frame. I'd rather just see Silva abandon the Middleweight belt and move to LHW full time.

Never doubt GSP though. I think he could realistically take Silva down. Stand up/size/reach all big for Silva though.

yeah, I don't get the 'obliterated' comments. Why would anyone think GSP would do worse than Dan Henderson? Actually that would be a great fight too, GSP vs Henderson.

GSP is moving up to MW anyway, it's only a matter of time.

I re-watched that fight. Dan didn't do as well as I initially thought he did . Besides laying on Silva through the first round he didn't really do anything. Then he went on to get smashed in the second round.

Anyone ever see Silva vs Newton?

This - except I never thought he did well, really. People way overhype what Dan did... Which is really almost nothing; then Silva comes out and just annihilates him.

I didn't say dan did amazing or anything. What I was getting at was that some people are making it seem like gsp would get embarassed like forrest did. I'm just saying that gsp, if he were to lose, would probably do better than anyone anderson has faced in the ufc thus far.

on top of that I believe he can win and always have believed that. gsp doesn't really make mistakes and doesn't really do anything stupid.
