Re: Mousasi leaves M1 Global

Bad news. Check out this paragraph from this MMAjunkie.com article:

"Mousasi last week broke from Strikeforce promotional partner M-1 Global and may have signed a long-term fight contract with the San Jose, Calif.-based promotion on his own as recently as last month."

That means he could have more than 1 fight left. It makes a little sense with there being a crop of good fighters at LH and MW for him to fight in SF. There's Henderson, Shields, Diaz, King Mo, Smith, Le and Lawler.

Why would you resign with SF when they are struggling to find people for you to fight. Shields is gone after the Henderson fight. There is a potential Hendo fight and maybe Diaz at MW if he wants to drop. Just a dumb move on his part.

Probably more money for him. He gets to fight 7-8 times this year in multiple organizations. I was upset at this too but then again the guys is only 24, no need for him to be tied down by the UFC just yet. especially since again, he's probably making a lot of money doing what he is doing now.

Good point. I forgot how young he was.
