I'll have to DVR this one. Going to some fights in St Louis that my buddies are putting on.

Seems Scott Smith is guaranteed ANOTHER rubber match if he loses to Le this weekend

"I told Strikeforce when we accepted this fight that if Scott were to lose, there was going to be a third fight," said Roberts. "I don't think Scott's going to lose this fight, but if it were to happen, there'd have to be a rubber match."

Like most fans and pundits, Roberts didn't see a need for a rematch as he felt his charge has nothing to gain and plenty to lose by facing Le a second time in as many bouts.

"I just don't think there's a lot for Scott to gain from fighting Cung Le again," said Roberts. "If he loses, then you obviously have to turn around and have a third fight, but if he wins, he's just beaten the same guy two times in a row. What does Scott gain from another win over Cung Le? The only reason to have this rematch is that it's a great fight that fans want to watch."
Really StrikeForce?

LOL Werdum thinks just because he beat Fedor's brother using BJJ, he can do the same thing against Fedor. Fedor is 5x better then his younger partying brother.

Well he has to give himself some reason to think he can win otherwise what is the point? I sure as **** wouldn't put any money on him but I'm still hoping he can pull off a miracle.

Well he is one of the best bjj practitioners in the world, if there is any place he thinks he can beat Fedor it's probably going to be on the ground.

Re: Strikeforce - Fedor v. Werdum - June 26

I like Fedor so much because he's got a freaky combination of speed, power, calmness and KILL MODE that I don't think anyone else really has. At almost any time, the fight can end with either a strike or a submission... just nasty. Love all the Sambo/Judo throws too, so sick. Ugh, watching that Randleman suplex again makes me queasy, but Fedor just snaps out of it and armbars his big *** in 15 seconds haha. I love the way he swarms on someone hurt too, totally out of control and swinging like a madman but he never seems to get in trouble for it and can snap in and out of that mode seemingly at will... so cool to watch.
