Probably look like a fool for asking this, but.. does "shine" just mean spin the stick ?

Re: Well - I can finally submit the AI

I really wanted to get this game, but when I played the demo and submissions were just as impossible as ever, I decided I could not bring myself to purchase it. Submissions are one of the coolest parts of MMA, IMO, and the sheer difficulty of it in this game was annoying.

So now that I hear your method maybe I'll download the demo again and give it a try.

I'm still not sure I get it though. So you initiate the submission by tapping the button, but then don't do anything for a few seconds while the CPU struggles? It seems like the CPU would escape this way. You know when to shine if the stamina bar gets low?

Thanks for the tips Fatigue. That also sounds like a realistic way of handling subs.

a lot of people forget what the dev's said. Clean, uniform circles beat out raging spins. Online I've got out of many a sub by doing this, speed is way overrated. I've subbed people too by just doing clean circles.

Re: Well - I can finally submit the AI

I don't know if its just me but I think it also has something to do with rythm. When I spin with consistency at the same speed I feel like I do better than when I start fast and get slower or the other way around. kind of confusing?!?
