I didn't like the way edgar fought the last fight - to outpoint rather than try to hurt or finish his opponent. now that he is champion it has the makings for the rematch to be worse in this respect. "I'm the champion, you have to come chase after me to beat me" that kind of thing.

Edgar is so light on his feet and in and out that I hope BJ takes him down. I hope Penn wins, because we need champs who try to finish fights and don't act like it's a point-fighting competition. I really hate in MMA when a fighter (mostly wrestlers) go into the fight with a strategy to win on point decisions rather than beat the other dude.

I dont like BJ but i do agree with you. He fights to finish fights not to outpoint.

I actually think thats one of the cooler celebrations in the UFC and I'm not a big BJ fan haha.

But I think Edgar is dead. If we see the BJ that came out and destroyed (my boy) Florian and Diego, which I think we will, I got BJ by submission in the 3rd.

Yeah man, he just has this second gear that makes him scary. That's the thing with BJ, he can beat 99% of the guys in the division just off pure, natural talent. No training, no nothing. But this causes him to become complacent at times and he needs a loss every once in awhile to shake him up. That's just the way he is. I mean just look at the way he came off that second GSP fight. I remember watching the weigh-in and being all excited for my boy Florian and then I see BJ step on the scale and I thought "Holy ***, KenFlo doesn't have a chance." I guarantee you right now, BJ comes out as the BJ we saw at 101 if not better.
