No wonder Nick doesn't want to go anywhere. Why leave when you're the champ and all they have to feed you is guys like Evangelista Santos? How is that dude even remotely deserving of a title shot? He is 3-4 since 2007. Don't get me wrong, I hope he smashes Diaz but I just don't see it happening and I don't see how he is getting this shot.

Lawler recently commented on how he plans to make Jacare stand with him. I don't see Jacare being at a disadvantage on his feet against Lawler, considering how solid Javare's stand up has been lately.

It still wouldn't be smart. Lawler has put superior strikers like Manhoef to sleep with that right hand.

I don't see Souza making the same mistake Manhoef did, who was pretty much destroying Lawler before getting KTFO.

I'm thinking the fight will remain standing where Souza is still much quicker and technically a superior striker than Lawler. Lawler will probably be winging wild hooks looking for the KO and Jacare will use his footwork and straight punches to frustrate Lawler throughout the fight.
