While I loved the Main Event, I wouldn't call it the best fight of all-time. I wouldn't even call it the best fight of the year which belongs to Edgar/Maynard 2.

Outside of the main event, the highlight of the night was Sonnen wearing a Medium Rare shirt. It's only funny if you know the backstory though.
I assume its in reference to telling Anderson his wife was going to make him a steak and then he'd slap her on the *** afterwards or something like that?

Re: UFC 139 - Rua v. Henderson - Nov. 19. - San Jose

Sorry to bump an old thread, but I was thinking about JJ v Hendo.. and then Hendo/Rua came on FuelTV..

After re-watching what do you guys think? I still think Hendo won by the slimmest of margins... Rua was absolutely demolished and destroyed rounds 1-3, takedowns, sub attempts and barrages of punches all were dominated by Hendo..

Hendo cannot withstand 5 rounds at all, he looked awful in 4 and 5.

But so much credit to Rua for surviving and also Rosenthal is the best ref for sure in MMA

Last thing, as was said, how wasn't there a 10-8 round for either guy? Going by Pride scoring, I give it to Hendo
