Way too short of a turnaround for Mir, who was in a good amount of trouble against Big Nog. If he would've won in a minute, like Tito vs. Bader, then maybe it'd be a possibility.

Man, that's a bummer if Overeem is out. I really have no clue who'd take that spot.

- Mir makes a bold statement, saying that if Alistair Overeem did happen to be out of his fight with Brock Lesnar then he would be happy to step in for him on three weeks notice.

Not with short notice. If booked originally, than yes, I'd agree, although I still expect Lesnar-Overeem to do very well if it's still on.

I read somewhere that he apparently left for Holland to visit his ailing mother coincidentally at the same time he was supposed to take his drug test [today].

Not sure how much truth there is to that, but it seems very suspicious. Lol

thought I read his mother has cancer also, I think I saw he has to take a test within 72 hours of returning to the US, and has to take 2 more after the fight or something..
