Would u like to see more rounds?

UFC 138 said Leben fight is going to be a 5 round non title fight. Would u like to see non title fights be 5 rounds and Title fights be 10?

Re: Would u like to see more rounds?

10 is too long for MMA with 5 minute rounds. I've already made my point on multiple occasions on more fights being 5 rounds though. It's a damn shame that Bendo/Guida is only 3 rounds, a 5 round fight would be excellent. Same goes with the Diaz/Penn fight, Bendo/Jim Miller, even the Machida/Rampage fight last year. That was one of the closest and most argued about decisions of the year, if they had another 2 rounds, the winner would have likely been a lot clearer.

The highest I would consider for title fights would be 7 rounds, but in very specific cases. 95% of the fighters wouldn't be able to go that long. Edgar/Maynard has probably the best chance at being a fight that is entertaining all 7 rounds. Pretty much any lightweight and below fight between high level guys, I believe. Edgar/Melendez for 7 rounds would be heaven.

Re: Would u like to see more rounds?

get it done. Mitrione is probably killing himself he didn't have that attitude. 3 rds,... go for the kill. The rules imo should support trying to BEAT your opponent, not out point him. More rules/rounds = more manipulation of the rules to get point wins.

Point of view of a casual fan:

Title fights - 5 rounds

Main Events - 5 rounds

Undercard non-title bouts - 3 rounds

All main events are 5 rounds? Even non-title bouts?
