If they are going to keep it live, they better bring some commentators to call the fight and just have Dana and coaches comments on the next show.
1st round fights are great for tv, most of the fights in past season have been snoozefests. Maybe go to 2-3 rounds when it gets down to 6-8 fighters.

I ended up liking it as most were finished, but it creates problems if you get someone laying on you for the round. Most of those fighters are not great yet, so they have holes and if takedowns/ground game is your hole, you had no shot in a 1 round fight.

I know, but they need to have them. It is probably going to be even worse once the coaches/teams are in the corners. There is going to be a lot of silence to bleep everything out. Just get someone to say what is going on and have Dana talk afterwards when they can clean up the language.

Best part to me...

Cruz: "Urijah's the alpha male over there so... go ahead and pick."

Faber: "ummmm are we doing the finals right now? alright...

who's ready to scrap right now guys?!?"

***CRICKETS***

Honestly - tell me Urijah's squad didn't look like a bunch of cornballs after that.

Lol. Urijah's team wanted no part of Lawrence. I figured at least one guy would've raised his hand or something. Lawrence vs. Marcelo should be a sick fight. The episode as a whole didn't come off that great, but luckily the fight didn't suck.

The episode was a lot better, they aren't showing the corners between rounds though. If they aren't going to show the corners, they are losing a lot from the fight. Just another thing against the live fights. Lawrence did what he needed, but I wasn't impressed with Marcelo. Lawrence didn't show anything great, but he took out a veteran without any problems.

Lawrence is a killer. Also, why no takedown attempts :/
