Yall do know the special takedowns are LB+LT correct? I get them most often on short takedowns.

I know, the only one for me that consistantly lands the special takedown on the short TD for me is the leg trip. That if timed right will go to half guard every time.

I didn't push lb when I did it vs a dummy practice CPU

Hughes and some others have it as a default takedown. if you shine enough you will get the backflip. I tested it as a short takedown, the only time it autopassed or did the special takedown off a short takedown, was when the guy was gassed I got the special takedown no struggle state. I was also able to consistently get the special takedown from a struggle state if they gassed. I think it should be changed to if you land a special takedown as a short takedown, you get rewarded with the actual special takedown for timing it just right.

the counter automatic takedown when someone throws a strong strike, is called a short takedown in the tutorial.

It's darn near impossible to get any of these takedowns on advanced or
higher. I can get them all day on the lower levels. I am sick of the normal takedowns. Lol
